Qingyun Shen

Qingyun Shen, Structural Engineer at Toro Engineering, holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Anhui University of Architecture and is currently completing a CPEng accreditation in Australia.

Qingyun combines strong technical expertise with a practical, safe and efficient approach. With more than 12 years of experience across industrial, residential, infrastructure, and resources projects, he brings a comprehensive understanding of the full project life cycle, from modelling and analysis through to design, construction support, assessments, and reporting.

His expertise spans structural and foundation design, geotechnical innovation, and large-scale optimisation. At Wuhu Urban Construction Group, he delivered structural solutions for over 800,000 m² of residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects, advancing foundational practice with shallow, raft, and pile systems supported by on-site testing. Previously at Anhui Conch Design& Research Institute, he designed and drafted more than 500,000 m² of developments, applying tailored foundation solutions in complex geotechnical conditions.

Proficient in industry-standard engineering and drafting software, Qingyun ensures designs are efficient, buildable, and compliant with safety requirements and Australian Standards. His work is consistently guided by a strong commitment to client needs and regulatory compliance, delivering value through reliable engineering.
