With over 24 years of structural design experience, James brings a rigorous, detail oriented, and solutions driven approach to engineering across the mining, resources, renewable energy, marine, power transmission, and communications sectors. His expertise spans the full project life cycle, from feasibility studies and tender phases through to detailed design, construction support, structural assessments, and reporting.

Before joining Toro Engineering, James delivered structural design and engineering leadership on major projects across the mining and resources sector. His portfolio includes beneficiation plants and materials handling infrastructure for BHP, crushing and conveying systems for Rio Tinto, and complex plant structures for London Minging. His work has consistently involved detailed structural design, verification, and assessment, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective solutions that meet client and Australian standards.
