Vaughan James, Director of Toro Engineering brings over 27 years of experience in civil and structural design engineering. Vaughan's extensive experience across the Mining, Renewables, industrial and non-process infrastructure sectors, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering landscape.

In July 2020, Vaughan founded Toro Engineering with a vision to create an engineering firm that offers exceptional engineering services while fostering a flexible and positive working environment. This commitment to excellence and adaptability continues to drive the company’s success and innovative approach to engineering solutions. 

At Toro Engineering, Vaughan manages a diverse range of projects, including mining, renewable energy, and non-process infrastructure projects. His leadership has been instrumental in growing the business and developing sustained relationships with clients and partners whilst also ensuring that both technical and construction requirements are met to the highest standards for our clients.
