Hashan Peiris

Hashan Peiris is a skilled Structural Engineer with over three years of experience in the design and analysis of concrete and steel structures. A graduate of Curtin University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil & Construction Engineering, Hashan brings a strong technical foundation and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to the Toro Engineering team.

Hashan has contributed to major projects such as the Batu Hijau Copper Expansion and Montage Gold Kone Project, where he performed detailed structural analysis, steel connection design, and technical reporting using tools like Space Gass, Strand7, and IDEA StatiCa. His work consistently aligns with Australian and international standards, ensuring safety, functionality, and sustainability in every design.

With additional experience at Melchor and ADENCO, Hashan has developed a well-rounded understanding of construction management, site inspections, and documentation processes. His final-year research on geopolymer mortar reflects his commitment to innovation and sustainable engineering practices.

Hashan is proficient in a range of engineering software including AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Project, and is known for his strong interpersonal and leadership skills. He thrives in collaborative environments and is dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
